First steps

Just a few words to introduce myself... I've been occasionally visiting to DeviantArt for about a year now and I gradually became more and more interested in photography. So a few months ago, I finally said to myself "why not" and got an old Olympus OM-1 with the standard 50mm f:1.8 lens and an additional 100mm f:2.8. Since then, I've taken quite a lot of shots, slowly learning the basic rules of exposure, composition, etc. and wasting lots of film rolls along the process :-) I opened my gallery in April, 2003, but I don't have any scanner at home and so can't upload many shots at a time. Thx so much for commenting!!! This is the buildings natural colour... Well kindof, there is some sort of green stuff which grows on the lamps and makes the light a bit green... But when photographed it goes even more green!! These angles were done by hand, so it was a bit grain and wobbly... But Check out the new ones I did(with a tripod!!) they are some of my best work ever and i am just in love with them :D (Big Grin) Thx again!!
